The Tomorrow Man (2019)

Its supposed apocalyptic premise is mostly a backdrop for the love story that's not that engaging or even sweet, but even though John Lithgow's obviously a gifted comedic star with considerable serious chops he can't do much with such a bland script, nor is he helped by some non-entity supporting characters. Eye-rolling finale aside, it's just a movie that exists and apologies for the obvious pun but I'll have forgotten it by tomorrow. Man.
